I support FreeFair DRC and its call for the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to ensure that the Democratic Republic of Congo meets its IMF obligations and publically discloses all mining deals that have taken place, and will take place. By enforcing the requirements of the credit facility on President Kabila’s government, the international community can better ensure that international aid and state revenue best benefits the Congolese people.
